Club Notes – 14th December 2022

The big talking point this week is the upcoming visit of Santa Claus to St Patrick’s Park on Saturday and Sunday. A mountain of work has been put in to make this happen and to make our grounds a Winter Wonderland. Thank you to all those who have been co-ordinating this work and to those who have helped out. We will require help with stewarding on Saturday & Sunday, particularly with parking, so if you have some time free, please get in touch.

The O’Neills Christmas order arrived last week and the majority of gear was collected on Friday, but there are still a small number still to be lifted. Outstanding orders can still be collected so please make contact to arrange collection.

The annual Christmas Concern collection, organised by Tempo Maguires, will be held on Saturday 17th December this year. As usual we require volunteers to offer up their time to help with the collection. If you are free on 17th, please let Vonnie know on 07974565154 so that a rota can be drafted.

Saturday’s Lotto Jackpot was £9,000. There was no lucky winner matching 1,15,16 and 17. The winner of the £100 Win a House in Fermanagh ticket was Rita Kingr. Next week’s jackpot is £9,100. Remember that you can play online at TempoMaguires.gaa.ie or in the usual places with an envelope.

Club Promoters are busy selling tickets for Fermanagh GAA’s Win a House in Fermanagh Competition. Tickets are £100 each and can be purchased from www.winahouseinfermanagh.com but be sure to selected Tempo Maguires as your club as we get £25 on each mentioned sale. If you want to purchase a ticket from a member, please let us know. The Early Bird draw is at the weekend so to be in with a chance to win the electronics package, you need to purchase before that. The option to purchase in 4 x £25 instalments is still available, but only until the end of December. Full details on the competition website or from any Club Officer.
