Club Notes – 21st December 2022
Over the weekend, we welcomed children of all ages to visit Santa at St Patrick’s Park. The feedback from the Winter Wonderland has been extremely positive and this is due to the mountain of work that was put in over the last ten days or so by a fantastic group of volunteers, under the direction of Sarah McCusker and Leda Fry. A massive word of thanks to those two and to their team of helpers who made so many people very happy over the course of the weekend.
The annual Christmas Concern collection, organised by Tempo Maguires, was held on Saturday. Thanks to Vonnie Fee for co-ordinating this and to the team that helped to look after the collection on the day. The money is now being handed over to Concern, who specialise in tackling hunger with the most vulnerable people in the world’s poorest places.
The O’Neills Christmas order arrived last week and the majority of gear was collected on Friday, but there are still a small number still to be lifted. Outstanding orders can still be collected so please make contact to arrange collection.
Saturday’s Lotto Jackpot was £9,100. There was no lucky winner matching 1, 23, 29 & 32. The winner of the £100 Win a House in Fermanagh ticket was Patsy McCarney, Liffer, Trillick. Next week’s jackpot is £9,200. Remember that you can play online at TempoMaguires.gaa.ie or in the usual places with an envelope.
Club Promoters are busy selling tickets for Fermanagh GAA’s Win a House in Fermanagh Competition. Tickets are £100 each and can be purchased from www.winahouseinfermanagh.com but be sure to selected Tempo Maguires as your club, as we get £25 on each mentioned sale. If you want to purchase a ticket from a member, please let us know. The option to purchase in 4 x £25 instalments is still available, but only until the end of December. Full details on the competition website or from any Club Officer.
